Awarded annually at Utah Philanthropy Day, the Labor & Honor Award recognizes an individual, family, or organization whose dedication to a cause has led to a phenomenal shift, breakthrough, or transformation in our state. Without consideration to their own interest or comfort, they apply themselves unrelentingly in pursuit of a solution to our most pressing problems. The award winner demonstrates the highest dedication to the meaning of Labor and Honor: to achieve meaningful results that better the lives of others through work performed with honor, for a purpose.
×´Giving to others, whether through philanthropy or service, is the very foundation of a meaningful life. There is no substitute for deriving one's purpose from simply putting others first. That is the heartbeat of The Labor and Honor Foundation. Work diligently in all undertakings, whether small or large, but do them for a reason! For us, that reason will always be to give it all back.×´
